No torn ligaments this time

I finally got enough confidence to give ultimate frisbee on the polo fields another try today (I tore the meniscus in my right knee last November playing ultimate in DC). While the orthopedist said I should try running for 30 minutes and calling it a day, I was stubborn and played for about two hours. I felt no pain which is good, but my endurance left a lot to be desired. I'm sure that'll come back soon enough as long as I keep getting myself out there each Sunday. I took it pretty easy today and didn't try any hard cuts and took little steps when I tried stopping which probably helped things along. I had two nice throws for scores, but still had some bad ones as well. I caught one score on a nice run down the right side which gave me confidence on my knee's condition. Time for some big time snow tomorrow and working from home.

You played for 2 hours when the orthopedist said 30 minutes! And you are wondering why your knee is sore?
Please if you end up in the ER again do not tell them who your mother is
